I was living in Los Angeles when my brother suddenly died and I had to sell his home. Because I had worked as a real estate agent for over 27 years, I knew to call the manager of a prominent company and ask for their best agent. It was my lucky day when they gave me the name of Steve Lozano! You would be very fortunate to have him working for you! This house was one of the most difficult to sell. My brother was mentally unstable and a hoarder. Exercise equipment sat along a large French marble dining table with eight upholstered chairs…upon which sat stacks of Nutrisystem meals, along with old newspapers, old records and miles of books. The rambling house had a dark room in the basement, filled with toxic chemicals. The grounds were overrun with large bushes and dead trees. The crumpling three-car garage was filled with old furniture, more old clothes, boxes, bugs, and filth beyond the imagination. It took six city dumpsters to start to clean up the house for sale. He personally hauled 20 large garbage bags of clothes to charity. He washed down walls and floors. He took pride in sorting every item very carefully. He was so meticulous that he went through stacks of papers before they were thrown out and found priceless letters and photos from my parents that I had never seen. He organized the deposal of chemicals, which had to be done over time. He organized both garage sales and private sales of the vast numbers of books to bookstore owners in Oakland. Not only did he care for the contents inside; he cared for the outside. Mr. Lozano is a gardener. The front yard was completely overgrown. On his own time, Mr. Lozano trimmed and brought to life a beautiful plum tree. What a surprise to find a stone bench on a pathway and a beautiful stone fountain that had been completely covered up for the last 30 years. Mr. Lozano is hard working, wise and takes the initiative to get the job done. Along with a great sense of humor, he understands people. You cannot hire a better agent to close your escrow!
